We officially have a Therapy Dog!
Bruno is a 6-year-old Cockapoo who has been visiting us for the past few weeks with his handler/owner Caroline. Bruno comes with his tail wagging and eager for cuddles and a fuss. Residents now recognise Bruno and welcome him, and Caroline, wherever they are. Bruno has a very calm temperament, is very gentle and, when asked, gives his paw for a treat (seen in the second email). Bruno visits once a week and really adds another level of stimulation for residents, especially those who don’t/are unable to get involved in activities.
He is a welcome addition to Paxton Hall.
