Paxton Hall is an impressive Grade II listed building of high architectural value with large impressive grounds and mature trees. The original house dates back to the Elizabethan times when it was rebuilt and renovated in 1738. The stately home was converted into a modern residential care home in the early eighties and a new wing was added in 1988/9.
Paxton Hall offers the following accommodation and facilities:
- 31 single rooms and 4 double rooms on ground and first floor (some with en-suite facilities).
- Most of the rooms have profile beds that can be adjusted to suit the resident’s needs. We also provide divan beds for residents who prefer them.
- Residents can customise their bedrooms with their own furniture

- Call bell system in all spaces enabling residents to call for assistance. Staff carry silent pagers so that the bells do not disturb other residents.

In addition the home has mature, tranquil and landscaped gardens as well as two enclosed courtyards with a patio. Residents are encouraged to take up gardening in the residents’ garden.
