Activities Coordinator (April 2018)

The Role:

Your role as the Activities Coordinator at Paxton Hall will be to ensure that each resident at Paxton Hall is able to participate in activities that are of interest to them and consider their personal stories and background.

You will work with the Manager and Carers to ensure that person centred activities are at the core of everything you do.

This is a part-time, permanent role.

The Requirements:

Firstly, that you are a caring, patient and kind person with a genuine interest in helping elderly people with care and support needs.

Secondly, that you are good at planning and implementing the kinds of activities that will interest and delight our residents and that you will do so with a sense of caring and concern – be it giving our residents the confidence to socialise more effectively, or working on a new idea based on residents’ hobbies, or organising activities and events involving the rest of the care home team.

Thirdly, that you have a jolly and friendly disposition with an optimistic outlook, an ability to manage your own work and time, and an ability to teamwork and get on well with colleagues.
